While employee training tops most companies' wish lists, costs can be prohibitive. That's where the Workforce Training Fund steps in by partnering with Massachusetts companies to underwrite up to 50% of an approved training program.
(These grants are restricted to Massachusetts-based companies only.)
The Workforce Training Fund Express is targeted to companies and labor organizations with 100 employees or less. "The DCS training grants program is a smart blend of corporate resources with state sponsorship. Well-trained employees are more productive and happier in their jobs. Conversely, a faltering economy bites into both staffing levels and training budgets. It's a vicious cycle - unhappy, under-skilled employees can't excel during such a critical period in a company's lifespan. This program makes it practical for executives to do the right thing - at the right price."
